The first one, Venenum Amor was originally done for a Valentine's Day Contest. We had to include certain phrases and items like... "He's a wizard, just tell him to stick his wand in
it" and "Damn, we're in a tight spot". The socks and tartan boxers were also a requirement. Looking back on the story, I still think the idea was pretty clever x) I liked the first one so much
that I wrote this one - a closer look at what happened to Ron and Hermione that day. (I really like this one a LOT more!!) I think I had originally planned on going farther with the story,
but I never really did x) Harry, Ron, and Hermione sneak into Snape's potions stores and fall victim to the curse associated with one of the stolen ingredients. The cure is simple... but
it's certainly not the type of cure one would expect...
Ron chuckled to himself as they examined their prize: the Cupid's Feather. I was a very rare potions ingredient (according to Hermione) and they had really put one over on Snape to get it. Boy would he be surprised when he found out it was missing!
The trio had been in the potions Dungeon collecting the feather for a Love Potion experiment they wanted to try out. Now all they had to do was escape without being noticed...
Just then he heard something behind the bookcase. Snape?
"Damn!" said Ron as he grabbed the shirt collars of his two best friends. "He's onto us!"
"Someone's been in my Storage Room!" roared Snape's voice as the bookcase began to open. "When I find them, they will curse the day they ever came to Hogwarts!"
They all began to run as fast as they could. Ron was out in front with Harry and Hermione trailing behind.
"He's gonna catch up to us!" whimpered Hermione. "If I get caught I could lose my position as a prefect!"
"He won't catch us!" said Ron as he stopped and turned to them. "We'll split up!"
He had noticed they had reached a fork in the vast hallways of the Hogwarts dungeons. It would be best if they would split up here and throw Snape for a loop.
"I'll take the right." said Harry as he lit up his wand.
"I'll go to the left." said Ron as he did the same. He looked over to Hermione for her decision and noticed how pitiful she looked. Her big brown eyes looked from one of them to the other and her bottom lip was quivering. It looked like she would burst into tears at any moment.
Ron couldn't stand to see a girl cry. It was just the worst thing in the world... all that weeping and wailing. Not to mention it could lead Snape right to them!
He gave an exasperated sigh and grabbed her sleeve. "Come on." he said.
"I'll meet you in the common room!" said Harry as he disappeared into the darkness.
Ron heard a little sniffle and looked back to Hermione.
"I shouldn't be doing this!" she said. "I'll get in so much trouble!"
"Listen to me," said Ron, "You're not gonna get in trouble, I promise. But we have to get out of here, fast. Snape's coming!"
Hermione smiled her thanks as Ron beckoned for her to follow him.
"I've only been here once before." he said as he knowingly made his way through the twists and turns. "I can't remember exactly when, though..."
"Anyways, I think you are so right about that guy from Ravenclaw! He is such a cutie!"
Ron froze at the sound of the unfamiliar voice and held out a hand to stop Hermione. "Nox!" he whispered. "Someone's here!"
They held their breath as they caught a glimpse of Millicent Bulstrode and Pansy Parkinson walking by.
"Oh hell!" said Ron. "I feel sorry for whoever they're talking about. I hope to God they don't talk like that about me!"
Hermione giggled slightly and Ron smiled, "What you don't think people talk like that about me?"
"No, I know for a fact they do, Ron." she said in a forced whisper as they both crouched down to avoid being seen. "That's why it's so funny!"
"Wait!" said Ron as he searched her face for truth the best he could in the darkness. "You mean... You mean girls really talk about me?"
"Of course they do!" she said as she giggled again. "You don't think I know? After all, I'm best friends with the 'two hottest boys in the fifth year'!"
Ron felt his face heat up. He and Harry were the two hottest boys in the fifth year? Woa! That's a shock for ya! But hearing Hermione call them that... something about it sent chills up his spine.
"Her... Hermione?" he asked as he scooted closer.
"Yes?" came her voice through the darkness. Ron felt himself brake out in a sweat.
"Umm..." he moved closer. "I was wondering if..."
"What?" she asked as something sudden happened.
Ron let out a small yelp and Hermione quickly shouted "Lumos!"
They looked down to see in horror that Hermione's cuff button was somehow caught on the fly of Ron's trousers!
This would have been the perfect opportunity for a stream of profanity to flow from Ron's mouth, but for once, he was tongue-tied. Here he was... caught... with Hermione's hand... No, he definitely didn't want to think about that!
"Umm..." said Hermione as Ron noticed her face was turning red in the wand light. But wait a second, that wasn't the only thing!
"Holy hell!" said Ron as he pointed at her.
"I . . I'm sorry, Ron, I didn't mean to... er..." she said as she shifted uncomfortably.
"Look... look at your hair!" was all he could say.
Hermione used her free hand to grab a lock of hair. She shrieked as soon as she saw what had happened. Her hair, her beautiful brown hair was now red!
She started to whimper as Ron tapped her on the shoulder. "Umm, Hermione, would you mind... um... taking your hand..."
Hermione reached down her free hand in attempt to free herself from Ron's trousers. Ron took a sharp intake of breath and closed his eyes. Does she realize what she's doing? he thought violently as she finally freed her hand and went back to moaning about her hair.
"Hermione?" he croaked. "What happened..."
"Oh my!" she said as she picked up her wand and leaned in towards Ron. She was now within inches of his face.
Oh hell! thought Ron as some of her hair toppled over her shoulders and framed her face as she looked at him intently. What the hell does she think she's doing? Mmmmm, damn she smells good!"
"Your eyes." she said. "They've turned red!"
"My... my eyes?" was all he could utter back. She could have been talking about the Troll Rebels in Hogwarts, a History playing Quidditch against Snape and it wouldn't have made a difference!
She moved her hand up to his hair and examined that. "Your hair is a strange hue of crimson that's very similar to your eyes." she mused as Ron noticed something else.
"Your clothes!" he exclaimed as he looked down at his own shirt in the wand light. "My clothes!"
"Eek!" yelped Hermione and she examined her sleeve and looked back up at him. "I have no idea what has caused this! We have to get back to the Common Room so I can check all of my books."
"Come on!" she stood up and started to head blindly down the corridors.
"Hermione!" protested Ron. Don't leave me this way!
"Honestly Ron!" said Hermione as she stomped back over to him. "You don't want anyone to see us like this, do you?"
I wouldn't mind it. thought Ron as she grabbed his hand and attempted to pull him to his feet. However, she was too little and Ron ended getting up on his own.
He reluctantly trudged after her not paying attention to which way they were roaming. She would occasionally stop, look around, and then continue.
Mum always said I'd end up with a red-head. thought Ron as he shoved his hands into his pockets. How ironic.
"Uh oh." said Hermione as she swept her wand around the wall. "We've reached a dead end."
"Wait a second!" said Ron as he looked about. "I've been here before..."
Just then, the stones on the wall began to rearrange themselves. "Shit!" he said as he grabbed her wrist and began to pull her off in the opposite direction.
"What?" she asked frantically as she tried to keep up.
"The Slytherin Common Room!" breathed Ron as he ran. "This portion of the dungeons is probably crawling with Slytherins. We've gotta get out of here!"
Voices emerged from the Common Room behind them and Ron recognized them as Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle. Just what I need! he thought wildly as he looked around for a possible escape. The Twerp Trio will find us and Snape'll have our heads!
"Ron!" came Hermione's voice as he noticed the dead weight in his hand. "I ... can't... run... any... further!" she said between heaves for air.
Ron turned around and saw her big red eyes looking up ad him pleadingly. "Just a little further, Hermione, I..."
"Who's there?" came a voice that sounded like Crabbe. "Are you lost?"
Hermione! He thought as he saw a wand's light appear a ways just behind her. "Get out of here!" he whispered strictly as he grabbed her and gave her a gentle push in the direction away from Crabbe.
"Ron, I..."
"Go on!" He watched as she reluctantly began to jog down the hall. I'd rather have me caught than her. he thought. I promised her I wouldn't let her get in trouble... now if that means it's at my expense...
"Who's there?" came Crabbe's voice again as the wand's light creeped closer. Ron was caught now. There was no way he could escape.
Ron slowly began to back up, never removing his eyes from the light of Crabbe's wand. There's still a chance! he thought. There's still a way I can get out of this unscathed!
He had broken out in a cold sweat and continued to back up slowly when a hand planted itself harshly on Ron's shoulder.
Ron couldn't help but let out a small shriek as the hand pulled him backwards. Before he knew it he had landed hard on the stony floor of the dungeon. He opened his eyes to reveal Hermione standing over him.
"It's a good thing I found this little cove." she said. "You yelling like that would draw an entire swarm of Slytherins to you!"
"Cove?" asked Ron as her wand illuminated her face.
"Oddly enough there are some walls in the dungeons that allow passage. We can go through the walls. I found this one and pulled you in before Crabbe caught you. We'd better get going, though," she beckoned to the hallway before them. "I don't know where this leads."
"If only we had the Marauder's Map now." said Ron as he looked at the wall behind him. "Wait, I came through there?"
"Yes, it's solid now, so we can't go back, but I don't think Draco and his henchmen will be smart enough to follow us."
Ron shook his head in disbelief. "Well, okay. Let's go."
He stood up and they began to walk down the hall. It twisted and turned so much that Ron didn't even know if they were still in the Hogwarts grounds. After a long time walking, they came to a flight of stony stairs. They slowly walked up them and found a wall at the top.
"Well, looks like we'll have to turn back." said Ron. "It's a dead end."
"Oh, don't be so impractical." said Hermione as she placed her hand on the wall. "We went through a wall earlier today, what makes you think we can't do it again?"
Sure enough, her hand slowly passed through the wall. "Well, come on!" she said. "Let's go before it decides to close again!"
"Hermione, do you think that's such a good..." Ron didn't get a chance to finish before he was dragged off through the wall.
He blinked as he tried to realize where they were. They were... they were in Professor McGonagall's office on the first floor!
"Oh boy." he said. "If we get caught here, she'll..."
"Let's not stay long enough to find out..." said Hermione as she opened the door to McGonagall's office and looked about suspiciously.
"Damn, we're in a tight spot." said Ron as she slowly snuck out of the room and he quietly followed.
"This way!" she said as she led her way down the dark halls. "It's dinner time, so hopefully no one'll be out and about!"
They prowled through the halls as stealthily as possible, praying not to be noticed when they heard a sound, Snape was stomping his way up the stairs towards the second floor.
"Hide!" whispered Hermione as she squeezed Ron into a small section behind a suit of armor in the hall.
Ron took a deep breath... He and Hermione were so close... this hiding spot was ... Mmmm, I can feel her breath...
"Damn we're in a tight spot..." he said as he realized he couldn't move.
"Just be quiet!" he heard her scold. "He'll hear us."
Ron tried to hold his breath so he wouldn't speak anymore, but he couldn't help it... Why did she do this to him? Had she no sympathy?
Just then Snape walked by the suit of armor and paused. He looked around as if he was expecting to see someone. Ron felt Hermione hold her breath and he did the same, but not before whispering, "Slimey Git, doesn't he have anything better to do than patrol the halls at dinner?" He felt a little kick on his leg and smiled.
Snape walked away and appeared to be in a hurry to get up to the second floor. Hermione squeezed out of the hiding place and pretended to glare at Ron. He smirked when he saw the laughter in her eyes.
"Ron!" she exclaimed in mock horror. "You almost gave us away!"
"Come on." said Ron. "Snape wouldn't be able to find us if we were right under his nose, which, I might add, we pretty much were..."
"Okay, okay!" she giggled. "But don't do it again."
Ron smirked again as they continued to sneak their way up to the 7th floor. It wasn't long before they were right outside the Fat Lady's portrait.
"Smiggleflump!" said Ron as the portrait swung open to reveal their way into the deserted Common Room.
"Phew!" he said as he collapsed into a large scarlet armchair. "It's good to be back!"
"Now let's see..." said Hermione as she plopped a huge book down on the hearthrug and sat down with it. "Cupid's feather..."
Ron looked over at her and saw her strenuously studying the potions book. He saw her shift her weight and turn the page. A slight frown etched on her face and she bit her bottom lip.
Gosh she's cute when she does that. thought Ron. Wait! What am I saying? I do not like Hermione... I cannot like Hermione!
He shook his head and tried to look away from her petite figure curled up on the hearthrug. I can't help it! She's the one who's got me all acting up! The little witch...
She put her head in her right hand and traced some of the words on the page with her finger.
So she was acting strange all day... she doesn't know the affect she has on me! First she gets me blushing, then she catches her sleeve on my... Dammit! I'm blushing again!
I wouldn't be surprised if this whole 'turning-red-thing' was her fault too. After all, if she wasn't such a crybaby we wouldn't have almost been caught down there in the dungeons.
She looked over at him smiled nervously and then went back to reading. What does that book say? Ron wondered. She just looked a little scared right there... Oh well. I guess I can't blame this on her. I'm the one who gets wound up when she's around.
"Umm, I've found the solution, Ron." she said slowly as she stood up.
"Great!" said Ron. "Let's make the antidote and cure it before anyone finds us like this!"
"I don't know how to put this..." she started as she bit her lip again. "Well, the curse that has infected us isn't like a normal curse..."
"What?" asked Ron as he stood up. "You mean there's no cure? Shit! Snape'll kill us when he finds us like this!"
"There's a cure!" said Hermione quickly. "But, oh, how do I put this?"
"Out with it already!" said Ron. "The suspense is killing me!"
"Okay." said Hermione as she took a deep breath and turned a lovely shade of red to match her red features. "Basically, the curse was activated when we both had a loving or lustful thought about the other and the only way to cure it is to prove that our thoughts were genuine."
Ron's mouth fell open, "Wait, what?"
Hermione sighed, and looked down at the hearthrug. "Well, the book says..."
But she was interrupted by Harry's voice. "Hey guys!" came the voice as Harry ran over. "We need your help! See we've turned..."
Ron and Hermione both looked in his direction to see a very scarlet Harry and Ginny standing next to each other.
"Oh my..." said Ginny as they all made eye contact. "Not you too!"
Hermione tapped her foot impatiently. "Cupid's Curse." she said. "How could I have been so blind?"
Ron heaved a sigh and put his hand into the pockets of his red jeans. Just when I was enjoying my time together alone with Hermione and Harry and Ginny come along and... wait a minute Harry and Ginny?
"I just finished reading up on it." said Hermione as she brushed her bushy red hair out of her face and motioned over to a heavy book sitting on the hearthrug.
"Cupid's Feathers are very rare." she explained. "They have a small curse which affects anyone who touches one."
"Small curse!" exclaimed Ginny. "Look at us!"
"How'd it happen to Ginny?" asked Ron as he looked his sister up and down disapprovingly. "She never touched it."
"Uhhh..." said Harry as everyone looked at him expectantly. "She brushed up against it in the bathroom stall."
"Bathroom stall?" asked Ron as he raised an eyebrow. "Do I want to know?" If he did anything to her in the bathroom, I'll kill him.
Ginny held up a hand, "Let's leave it there." she said as Ron made a mental note to chew them out later. "How come I didn't turn red as soon as I touched it?"
Hermione's cheeks flushed to match her clothes. "Umm, that's the funny part."
"What?" asked Harry who sounded awfully scared. "What in the world could have caused this??"
Hermione looked as if what she was about to say was the hardest thing ever. Ron had never seen her so tongue-tied. He didn't quite understand what she had tried to tell him. They turned red because he had thought something lustful about her? He felt his face heat up again. Well, it's kinda hard not to when she's got her hands...
Ginny looked terrified. "What is it, Hermione?" Ron was jostled out of his thoughts.
Hermione looked around nervously. "Umm, let's go somewhere more private." She grabbed Ron's wrist and began to drag him towards the boy's dorms.
"Hold up!" said Ron as he planted his feet in the ground. "Do we really have to go up to the boys dorms?" Crap! I've left it a mess!
"It'll be safe there from anyone walking in and seeing us!" she said as they continued to walk. When they go to the top of the stairs, she opened the door to their room.
"Agh!" yelped Harry and Ron as they both rushed into the room to quickly put away things they didn't want to be seen. Ron was stuffing things under his bed and Harry had barely enough time to toss a clean pair of his tartan boxers left by a laundry house elf off of his bed before Ginny or Hermione saw them.
Hermione, not taking a bit of notice to their tidiness, sat down on Ron's bed, closed her eyes and bit her bottom lip. "The curse does not take immediate effect." She said. "It must be activated. When it is activated, the cursed person and every article of clothing will turn red."
"How does it get activated?" asked Harry.
"I'm getting there!" said Hermione, who was now sounding more and more like herself. "When the cursed person has a loving or lustful thought about someone of the opposite sex, the curse then becomes activated and the person turns scarlet!"
Ron felt his face heat up again. Yeah, yeah, I know that.
"Then that means..." he heard Ginny speak.
"Yeah, yeah." he said as his ears turned pink. "We can obviously tell what each one of us has been thinking about this past hour..."
"RON!" said Hermione as she blushed furiously. "I... I don't think I..."
"Come off it, Hermione." said Ginny calmly. "No one turned you red, you did it all on your own. Obviously it was with Ron too; seeing as how you two have been together alone for the past hour."
That's it, I'm gonna kill her. thought Ron as he mentally held himself back from strangling his sister. Hermione probably hates me if she thinks I'm having lustful thoughts about her!
He looked timidly over to Hermione who had picked up a Quidditch magazine and was obviously trying to look occupied. Yup. Ron concluded. She hates me.
"Well what about you?" he suddenly blurted out in his and Hermione's defense. "I see I'm not the only red-redhead in this room! How did you manage to turn red while with Harry, huh?"
"I dunno, I just..." Ginny stammered for words.
"Um, how do we cure it?" asked Harry as he quickly interrupted the fight between the siblings. "I mean, lose the redness and all before anyone sees us and knows what we've been doing."
Hermione put her head in her hands and Ron noticed she had turned even redder. Her skin was now about as red as it could get.
"What now?" Harry asked. "What do I have to do?"
"Oh blast!" she said as she quickly stood up. "I left that book down there, back in the Common Room!"
"Well, let's go get it before anyone sees it!" suggested Ginny as they turned towards the door to the dorms. "Oh, wait!" she said as she snatched a pair of socks off of Harry's bed. "You don't mind if I steal these, do you, Harry? I left mine in the bathroom in all that haste and now my feet are cold." She looked down and wiggled her toes in her sandals.
"Uhh, I guess." said Harry as he flushed.
Now why would Ginny steal Harry's socks? wondered Ron. Sure she steals mine and occasionally Percy's and Charlie's, but Harry?
"Here it is," said Hermione as they located the book in the Common Room. "You basically have to prove that your 'thought' was genuine. Oh, I can't believe I am saying this!" She rubbed her eyes and an unfamiliar gleam graced them. "You have to kiss the person you had thoughts about. If the kiss and the feelings are genuine, you will change back to normal and you will forever be immune to the Cupid's Curse."
Ron's mouth gaped open. Kiss Hermione? he thought. But... but I've never kissed a girl!
He felt himself turned pink again and his mind began to race. Oh my goodness. She really hates me now. Now I have to kiss her... I wonder if she'll even let me do it! He stole a glance at her and saw her avoiding looking at him. Man, she's cute.
Are my feelings genuine, though? he wondered. I mean, she drives me insane every time she's around, but do I actually have... feelings for Hermione?
Then it struck him: Wait a second... She's red too. That means... she thought a lustful thought about me? he smirked. Well, well, I guess there's more to little miss Prefect than meets the eye.
The room had been silent for some time now. It was obvious that each person was chewing on these thoughts themselves.
"It's seven o'clock." said Ron as he looked at his watch. "Dinner just got over, people will be coming back soon. Then this room'll be swarming like a bee hive..." He couldn't resist, "Damn, we're in a tight spot..."
Hermione choked back a laugh and beamed at him.
"I don't want them to see me like this!" said Ginny in her familiar whiney little sister voice. "What would my friends say?"
"Well, I guess we have no other choice." said Hermione as she stood up and moved closer to Ron. Ron shifted and felt uncomfortable. What the hell does she think she's doing?
Then, the unimaginable happened, she stood up on her tiptoes and leaned forward, stretching up to kiss him. She put one arm around the back of his neck and closed her eyes as their lips met. Ron's eyes widened as if he didn't know how to react.
AHH! She's kissing me! She's kissing me! What do I do, what do I do?
Without a second, he slowly slipped his arms around Hermione's waist. I can't believe it. I'm kissing Hermione Granger, the perfect little Prefect. . . Damn, I'm lucky. Shut your eyes, you prat, savor this moment, 'cause she'll never this happen again!
Just when he had gotten the hang of it, she pulled away and looked into his eyes with a look of pleasure and surprise. Ron noticed the red hue of her features beginning to fade. He smiled a weak smile and looked at his own clothes.
"Wait a minute!" he said as he examined his sleeve. "I'm still red! Why, that kiss was genu... I mean, I kissed her... I mean..."
"You didn't kiss her, Ron." said Ginny gently. "She kissed you. She passed the test. Now you have to do the same thing."
"You mean kiss her again?" said Ron as he looked down at Hermione who was blushing once again. Guess I was wrong; I do get to do it again. He tried to conceal the wide smile that was now spreading across his face, "Okay!"
Without further hesitation, he drew her close in an enveloping embrace, this time much to her surprise. After he released her and they pulled apart, his clothes began to fade back to normal colors.
"Would you look at that?" he said as he held an arm up to examine his sleeve. "I'm cured! Thanks, Hermione."
She just blushed and looked utterly pleased with herself.
Ron looked over to see Harry staring at them as if they had just walked through a wall of black fire. What's his problem? Ron wondered.
"Ahem." came a voice behind Harry.
Harry slowly turned around to face Ginny. He looked at her for a while and then looked up at Ron.
"Go ahead Harry." said Ron as he waived his hand. "I don't like the idea of you having lustful thoughts about my sister, but if you get caught like that, we'll be in trouble!" Damn straight. Now hurry up, and don't you dare enjoy yourself!
"LUSTFUL THOUGHTS!" Harry spat. "Ron, I was only thinking about..."
Three people stared at him expectantly. This'll be good...
"Umm, never mind." Harry recovered as he slowly scratched his head.
Ginny, who was standing next to him, looked utterly humiliated. My poor sister! thought Ron. She's utterly embarrassed to kiss Harry. She doesn't like him!
Ron saw Harry lean in and begin to whisper something to Ginny. Sweet nothings. he thought. The cowardly git! That's my little sister! I wonder if he would react the same way to me doing that to Hermione... Just the thought of whispering sweet nothings in Hermione's ear made his face heat up again.
Ron saw Ginny begin to speak. She had started to blush slightly when he saw Harry lean down and kiss her. Just like that? thought Ron as he clenched his fist. Why I'll...
But before he could continue his silent threat, he felt a hand on his own. He was startled and looked down to see Hermione holding his hand. He blinked and looked into her brown eyes. "Let them be." she whispered.
Ron swallowed hard and felt chills run up his spine. Anything. He felt like saying, Anything you say.
Ron noticed Harry's clothing slowly changing back to their normal colors and Hermione slowly let go of his hand before Harry of Ginny saw. But she looked into his eyes before stepping away. It was almost as if she meant to say, "Don't worry, Ron, I'm right here with you."
The sound of the portrait hole opening brought them all back into reality. Panic spread through the small group of friends. Ginny wasn't cured yet! Before anyone could say a thing, she slung an arm around Harry's neck and pulled him close for a kiss.
Ron's mouth opened wide. Who would have known she'd be so... so... aggressive! He looked at Hermione and she smiled and nodded at him.
"Look at Harry!" someone said as they pointed at Harry and a now normal-colored Ginny embracing.
A bunch of Gryffindors stopped to watch just as they finished up. Comments flew all over the common room.
"That's the last time we let you out of our sight, Ginny Weasley!" said Fred as he grabbed Ginny's ear and pulled her away from Harry in a mock-reprimanding tone.
"We knew when we saw you two all funny-looking and running through the halls together that something was up." agreed George.
"Now you're in here doing who-knows-what with Harry without supervision." chimed in Fred as if right on cue.
Ginny looked livid, but Ron spoke up first. "Umm, I was here you guys." He said. "It's nothing to worry about."
"Whatever." said George. "Wait till mum hears about this. She'll be so pleased!"
"'My daughter? Harry Potter's girlfriend? Oh, I'm so pleased!'" said Fred in a Molly-like fashion. Ron suppressed a laugh. As much as he hated to admit that fact, Molly Weasley would love to hear Ginny and Harry were together.
The twins laughed and walked away, leaving the common room almost empty as people settled in to do their homework.
"Well, I'm glad that's over." said Hermione as she slumped down into a chair in front of the fire.
"So, we're immune to the Cupid's Curse now?" asked Ron as he sat down on the seat next to her.
"Yes." She said with a deep breath. "We'll never have to worry about that again!"
Ron looked up at her and smiled as she began to blush again. So it's true, my feelings for her are genuine! I'm so... so... I've never felt this way before!
He slowly moved his hand down and took hold of hers. She blushed and squeezed his hand. So this is it? thought Ron as he stared at her in a whole new way, This is what it feels like to be in love!
