The MarySueisms are reaaaaly bad in this fanfic... that's your fair warning. Also, Draco and Harry & Co. for some reason are friends *shrugs* This one was done for a contest... and also as an excuse to write fluff/kisses without having to develop much into the other fanfic I was writing. Yay laziness!!

"Wait, you're staying here for the holidays too, Jessi?" asked Harry as he, Jessi, Hermione, and Ron walked back to the Gryffindor Common Room after the feast that night.

"Yeah." said Jessi as she stretched. "Man! That was a great meal!"

"Is Brian staying too?" asked Ron.

"Yep." Said Jessi as she referred to her best friend, a Hufflepuff and Head-Boy. "Are you guys going to Hogsmeade on the 24th?"

"Oh yeah!" said Ron as he slyly smiled as Harry. "We have to visit Zonko's before Christmas!"

"I'm not even going to ask!" said Hermione as she rolled her eyes but was obviously trying hard to suppress a smile.

Harry took a deep breath. The Hogwarts Christmas feast before most students left on holiday was always one of the highlights of the year. Harry was really looking forward to Christmas this year.

The students that chose to remain at Hogwarts counted down the days until the 24th. Everyone was extremely excited. The trip was going to be tons of fun and it had been snowing a lot lately...

When the day finally arrived, all of the kids gathered in the foyer on the main floor. "Is everyone ready?" called Hagrid over the bustling group of students.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione had their pockets full of whatever money they had.

"Hey!" said Ron as the crowd began to disperse though the great doors. "Where'd Hermione go?"

Harry looked around for her and then finally spotted her talking to Emerald. Hermione and Emerald had surprisingly become really good friends this year.

The students filed out in a steady stream of bodies clinging together to keep warm. Harry and Ron noticed they were closely following Jessi and Brian.

"Hey guys!" said Ron as he tugged on Brian's scarf. "Where do you think you're going without us?"

Brian and Jessi turned around and began to walk with Ron and Harry. "It's freezing out here!" said Brian as he pulled up is yellow and black scarf. "Let's go to the Three Broomsticks to get some butterbeer to warm us up!"

"Great idea!" said Hermione as she and Emerald caught up with them. "We'll join you!"

"Wait up!" said a voice behind them as Draco came running up.

"Draco?" said Jessi, "I thought you were going home for the Holidays!"

"Naw." said Draco in his familiar drawl. "Dad said he's too busy to have me home."

"What about the twerp twins?" said Emerald as she looked behind Draco. "I thought your bodyguards never left your side."

"Ha ha." said Draco sarcastically. "They went home and left me here."

"Well, you can hang out with us." said Harry as Ron gave him a nasty look.

"What?" Harry whispered to Ron. "It won't hurt."

Ron scowled but said nothing as they continued to walk.

When they arrived at the Three Broomsticks, they all said hello to Madame Rosmerta and sat down at a very large table. They each ordered a mug of butterbeer and began to drink in utter bliss.

"This is great!" said Ron as all his anger about Draco accompanying them left him. "I love this stuff."

Everyone else just nodded in agreement.

After that they decided to go to Honeydukes.

"I need some Scorpion Suckers." said Draco as his feet crunched in the snow. "I ran out last week."

"I'm gonna get some Loony Licorice for Fred and George." said Ron.

"Really?" said Draco. "They have that here, I never knew that..."

But he was cut off as a snowball his him square in the face. He wiped is off quickly and glared in the direction from which it had come. Emerald was standing with Jessi by a snowdrift and she had another one ready to go.

"Oh." he laughed as he wiped snow off of himself. "You don't think you can throw a snowball at ME and get away with it, do you??"

With that he charged them and tackled them into the snowdrift.

"Ahh!" screamed Jessi. "Get her, not me! GET HER, NOT ME!"

But it was too late; the two girls were now covered in snow.

When everyone else noticed what was happening, they couldn't help but join in the fun. Before too long there was snow flying everywhere and giggles and yells were rising from the powdery mist.

After about five minutes of very intense snow wrestling, they all just laid there and stared at the sky and let the snow fall gently on their faces so they could catch their breath.

"You are crazy!" said Ron to Hermione as he rubbed his arm. "What did you put in that snowball? Lead?"

Hermione just giggled and Harry noticed her cheeks were unusually red but he figured it was because of the snow.

"Well if we don't get in soon, I'll die of hypothermia!" said Emerald as she tightened her coat around her and adjusted her silver and green scarf.

"Yeah!" agreed Harry. "Even my socks are frozen!"

They all clamored out of the drift and walked on to Honeydukes. There they quickly warmed up and filled their pockets with everything they could find before finally going on to Zonko's.

There were no snow fights on the way there, but a few random snowballs were thrown. It wasn't enough to be a snowball fight, but it was still enough to put a lot of people back on the wetter side.

When they arrived at Zonko's they were surprised to find it nearly empty. Fred and George greeted them right as they walked in the door.

"Well, if it isn't the crew from Hogwarts!" said George as he shut the door behind them. "Having a nice holiday?"

They all told the twins all about their lazy week and then Ron presented them with mounds of Loony Licorice.

"All right!" they said as Fred took it into the back room. "We've been waiting for a shipment of these for months!"

They gave Ron something that they wouldn't show anyone else and everyone began to look around the shop. Not much had changed since the last time they were there. Wizarding pranks still lined the walls from end to end.

"Hey, we were thinking on coming back with you to Hogwarts tonight." said Fred. "Dumbledore said it'd be okay for us to stay and have dinner with you so we could spend Christmas Eve with our favorite little brother."

Fred grabbed Ron in a strangling-like hug and George pinched his cheek. "You've grown up so much!"

"I'm your ONLY little brother!" said Ron as he gasped for breath before he was released from the bind.

"All the more reason to be with you more often!" said Fred.

"Hey, where's Ginny?" said George. "We got her a present too."

They had barely spoken the words when the door to the store flew open and two redheads bustled inside amongst the flurry. George ran over to shut the door behind them and saw who it was.

"What do you know!" he said as the two girls brushed themselves off and stamped their feet. "It's the other Weasley Twins!!"

Two pairs eyes looked up at them and they both shook their heads. It was Ginny and her best friend Shannon. Fred and George often called them "the other Weasley twins" because Ginny and Shannon looked somewhat alike. Ginny had long red hair that went halfway down her back and brown eyes while Shannon had the same color hair that was cut short above her shoulders and she had blue eyes.

"Come on you two!" said Ginny as she loosened her scarf and walked further into the store. "It's Christmas Eve! Can't you cut us a break?"

"I suppose you're right." Said Fred. "We won't tease you until tomorrow."

"Thanks." said Shannon as she rolled her eyes.

Harry had been showing Ron the latest Wizard Crackers and had just now looked up. His heart skipped a beat. Ginny was here!

Her long red hair was windblown and her freckled cheeks were incredibly rosy. The weather had put her in a pretty rough state, but Harry thought she still looked stunning.

"Harry?" said Ron. "You stopped in mid-sentence. You said these were more..."

Harry tore his eyes away from the girl in the doorway, "Huh?"

"Nevermind!" said Ron as he went off to go look at the New-Year's Selection.

Harry just shrugged and watched Ron walk away.

After everyone was done looking around, they decided to go. Fred and George said good-bye to their boss and locked the front doors behind them.

"Brrr!" said Draco as he wrapped his scarf around his neck. "I hope those worthless house elves have made us something warm."

Harry and Ron both quickly looked at Hermione who showed a flicker of malice in her eyes but said nothing.

Ron looked at Harry and let out an obvious long breath and Harry smiled.

The doors to the Castle were open and waiting for them as they walked up the steps.

"Home at last!" said Harry as he walked in and was followed by Ginny. "I'm starving!"

"If you're going to return, do it the right way." said a voice in front of them.

They all looked questionably at Dumbledore.

"Like I said," he said as he gestured to the top of the doorframe. "I'm not letting anyone eat until we honour our latest decoration."

All of their eyes followed his hand to the top of the doorway and stopped on a small branch of mistletoe.

They all quickly looked back at Dumbledore who was now smiling amusedly. "Now I noticed that each of you walked in with a member of the opposite sex." He said as his eyes smiled at each of them in turn.

"With the exception of Jessi, of course." He said. "She walked in with both Fred and George."

Harry looked around frantically. Kiss? he thought. I've never kissed a girl! He saw Brian and Hermione were standing next to each other and looking very awkward, Ron was standing next to Shannon and he looked very petrified as well. Jessi was standing in between Ron's older brothers and Draco was looking at Emerald as if at any moment she would sprout fangs and attack him. But where is Ginny? He wondered as his eyes surveyed the crowd. Surely she had come in with them!

"Ahem." came a soft voice behind him as he tensed up. He turned around to see Ginny looking up at him. She seemed to be blushing terribly, but as far as Harry could tell, he was probably blushing far worse!

"Well, go on!" prompted Dumbledore as he waved his hand in the direction of Neville Longbottom who was kissing a Hufflepuff Seventh year named Katriena. "I thought you said you were hungry and I'm not letting you pass until you pay the toll!"

"We're hungry!" said Fred and George as they each stooped down and kissed Jessi on one of her cheeks.

Jessi turned beet red but kept her dignity. "Is that the best you've got?" She grabbed George and planted a loud kiss on his cheek and then did the same with Fred.

They laughed and started chasing her to redeem their dignity.

All of the eyes then turned to Draco and Emerald. "Oh, no." said Draco "You can NOT expect me to kiss her! Why she's..."

He never finished because his lips were soon in contact with Emerald's. His eyes grew to the size of golf balls and when she pulled away he was speechless.

"You talk too much." she said softly.

Harry thought he was seeing things, but wait! Did he just see Emerald blush? EMERALD? And woa! Was Draco smiling? Yeah, it looked liked he was!

Next was Brian and Hermione. They both looked awkward because it was well known that they were good friends, but they didn't know if they could kiss the other.

"Well, look at this!" said Dumbledore. "Head-Boy and Head-Girl... Why a scene like this hasn't happened since long ago!" he winked at Harry. "Go ahead you two."

Brian took a deep breath and looked at Hermione who was blushing furiously. "Well, let's get this over with."

Hermione just nodded.

"On the count of three? One, two, three."

They locked lips and a flash filled the hall. Colin Creevey lowered his camera and smiled. "I'll get big bucks for this one! Head-Boy and Head-Girl make out in the middle of the school hall!"

Brian looked livid and Hermione turned even redder than Harry thought was possible. Brian took off after Colin yelling something that sounded strangely like "Kill, kill."

Dumbledore smiled at Ron. "Well, you're next Mr. Weasley."

Ron looked at Shannon. She was one of the few girls in the school that was tall enough to actually almost see eye to eye with him.

Harry had noticed his ears had turned very red while Brian kissed Hermione and now they were even redder.

"Come on, Professor Dumbledore!" said Ron in a teasing manner. "She's a Ravenclaw Chaser! I can't go around kissing my competition!"

Dumbledore smirked. "Don't make me have to take away house points, young man!"

"YOU WOULDN'T!" said Ron as visions of the House Cup flashed in his head. "Would you?"

Dumbledore raised an eyebrow but Ron never saw it. He had turned to Shannon and bent down to give her a long kiss.

Shannon's eyes got about as big as Draco's and she blushed.

When he was done he looked at Dumbledore. "Would you give me House Points if I did it again?"

Dumbledore laughed and shook his head, but Harry noticed Hermione had turned even redder. It looked as though she were about to burst. What was it? Was it... jealousy?

He was still looking at Hermione and wondering when he noticed all of the eyes in the hall were on him; including Ginny's.

He felt his face turn red and he swallowed hard.

"Your turn Harry." said Dumbledore gently.

Harry felt his pulse quicken as he looked into Ginny's eyes. She was waiting for him to kiss her. Her eyes were taunting him. "Come on!" they were saying. "It's just a kiss!"

It's not just a kiss! Harry felt like saying to them. Everyone's watching! What if Ron finds out? Would he forgive me? Would he forgive me if he found out that... that I like his sister?

"It's okay." The eyes said to him as Ginny smiled a reassuring smile. "Despite what people may think, I never got over my crush on you."

Harry raised his eyebrows and looked at her disbelievingly and she blushed and put her head down. But Harry's courage had come. He put one hand on her shoulder and one under her chin, which he gently lifted so he could make eye contact with her again.

The he did it; he slowly touched his lips to hers. He felt like the world around him was spinning but he and Ginny were standing still amongst all of it.

Just when he was afraid he'd forget to stop, he snapped out of it and slowly pulled away. Ginny looked at him with wonder in her eyes and pink on her cheeks. It was almost as if she was thanking him.

Harry blinked a couple of times as Ginny was dragged away by Shannon. She looked back at him and smiled several times, but Ron and Hermione had found their way to him and were now talking to him. Once again, he tore his eyes from her and focused on them.

"I wish I woulda had a camera for that one!" said Ron playfully as he clapped his hand on Harry's shoulder. "You two looked like you'd done that before!" he winked at Harry. "Is there something I need to know about you and my sister, Harry?"

Harry faked a laugh, "No!" he said as his mind smiled at Ron. Not yet, at least.
